Why might I be asked for my email?

Sometimes, A Personal Moment Of Care asks for an email address you control. This serves two simple purposes:

• To confirm you’re a real person.
  A short code sent by email helps protect personal care from bots and misuse—similar to how banks or health portals protect access.

• To save your care, if you choose.
  Email verification lets you privately save and return to your responses. Only you can access them.

That’s it.

Why offer this as an opt-in service?

Many people report meaningful benefits from personalized spiritual care. Our Care Director, John Odden, has seen this firsthand through decades of volunteer service in hospitals and communities.

While these experiences are often encouraging, there is still much to learn about when and how spiritual care helps most. Opt-in feedback allows people—only if they choose—to share what worked for them and help improve care for others.

What about privacy and research?

Any surveys or learning efforts are optional and designed to protect your privacy. When research tools are used, they follow standards common in healthcare and academic settings, always under personal choice and control.
